Smartsolar

I had the opportunity of interning under Mr. Kevin Junker, founder of SmartSolar, a Vietnam-based solar panel financing company that provides solar panels to both residents and commercial owners at an affordable price. Through this experience, I was able to develop and utilize a number of skills including drafting MoUs or Memorandums of Understanding, writing and sending out cold call emails to potential solar panel suppliers to work with as partners, conducting marketing analysis on SmartSolar’s current advertising campaigns to determine future directions, and using that analysis to create new video advertisements designed for social media.

This particular internship was truly beneficial to me in the fact that it gave me a great amount of insight into how new startups, specifically those that are foreign, function. Working under Mr. Kevin Junker was truly a great experience, and I appreciate all the support and advice I received while at SmartSolar.
